Mental Health in Young people

Updated: Jan 2

My Teen has lost confidence

Mines not a teen yet

But not far off, this threw me a little at first as most teens I have met are anything but less confident ๐Ÿ˜…

However yes there is another side, since covid especially, our youth feel isolated, unwanted and worst case bored ๐Ÿ˜ด

Less motivated and dare I say it just annoyed with all that's going on

Management of their life is bad enough ๐Ÿ˜ช then they have the baggage of unwanted and unwarranted emotions ๐Ÿ˜ข ๐Ÿ˜‘ ๐Ÿ˜•

Sad, angry, ๐Ÿ˜  afraid ๐Ÿ˜จ disappointed and lots more

It's all so confusing ๐Ÿ˜• for all of us nevermind the young

Tips

Nature walks are amazing, connecting, feeling grounded and the effects of just breathing that air is amazing

Open spaces for them to talk, be themselves and let it out

Most effective I have found is brain dumping as I love to call it

Scribble some words, write a letter or do some finger painting ....

Then throw it out..

We all need help sometimes... it's OK to not be OK all the all the time
